"GAC is my first place of work. Other than my academic achievement; I am impacted meaningfully by the various training programs provided here; and as a result, I can boast of being a professional auditor."
"Ten years of work experience here at the GAC has only made me professionally passionate and strong, especially conducting audits in Rural Liberia. I do recall – on an occasion or two, sleeping in the forest alongside my colleagues while on our way to Gbepea, Nimba County in the north of Liberia – the moment that arouses my passion for auditing, especially in the interior.”
"I began my work here at the GAC as audit trainee without any prior knowledge of the job – and that was years back; but the years ahead afforded me the opportunity to undergo several audit training programs that have got me prepared to understand and conduct audits today – and I’m grateful to God first and then, the GAC Management."
"Sincerely, the GAC has really played an important role in my life – at least by building my capacity to understand the fiscal operations of the government; even the opportunity to enroll in the Professional Certification programs that has made my work a rewarding experience is a clear testimony of my ability not only to conduct audits but to write reports."
"The current arrangement here at the GAC has enabled us – auditors, to build a professional family and a real home away from home. With all of the training programs – whether in Performance audit; consolidated audit; Coastal audit; Forensic audit and what have you, our achievements here at the GAC have added values to our work - and you see it from our audit reports."
"The passage of the new GAC Act into law by the Legislature to put our institution on level with other Supreme Audit Institutions of Africa and the world was actually my greatest moment because I saw it as a major transformation; because we worked on that document for years since 2009 in accordance with international best practice, and with the perception that Members of the Legislature would not have seen it fate to ensure passage owing to the critical nature of the provisions therein, I was not convinced that the reality would have avail itself – but thank God it was finally passed into law in 2014. Even though we may not be totally independent as reflected in the 2014 GAC Act, we are getting there."
"One good thing about the General Auditing Commission is the extent to which our Senior Management is always accessible to the staff – whether, on the audit process, audit report or administrative matters, accessibility here is overwhelming, and I think it should continue that way so that we achieve our strategic goals as an institution. Secondly, our good team experience has got us moving forward towards success."
